John (he/they) is a longtime Lancaster resident, educator, and music community member. John believes that creative experiences are integral to learning and that bolstering young artists drives wholistic, community growth. As Director of Operations at MusiCorps, John aims to address the learning gaps Lancaster students often face on their musical journey through greater community engagement.

When he’s not working John can be found hiking, dancing, or recording/performing with the Lancaster-based Nielsen Family Band.
