When she was 14, Claudia’s father fell ill and was unable to work, which put a strain on the family’s finances. A family friend stepped in and covered the cost of her private lessons for the last two years of high school, allowing her to reach a higher level of skill and confidence than would have been possible otherwise. With this background, the mission of Musicorps resonated strongly with her. 

A lifelong musician, Claudia’s other passion is writing, and her OTHER passion is helping others. So being part of the fundraising team for an organization that helps others make music is a dream come true. Claudia is a professional grant writer, currently with Community First Fund in Lancaster. Previously she was the grant writer and communications director at Compass Community Center, an LGBTQ community center in Palm Beach County, Florida.
